1. Domain ownership verification

Why do we ask you to do this?

Emails can only be sent on behalf of a domain with confirmed ownership rights. Yes, technically we can send any emails. However, to prevent fraud and phishing and to protect ourselves, you,
other senders and, first and foremost, email recipients, we have introduced this rule. Emails may only be sent from your own domain or from a domain that you are authorized to represent, for example, as a developer.
If you have the ability to modify the domain’s DNS record or the website itself, this is considered sufficient proof of your rights to the domain. No additional legal documents are required — only simple actions
that usually take just a few minutes. Don’t worry about making a mistake — there are no penalties at this stage.

What verification options are available?

We support 4 methods:
1. Publishing a DKIM key. You can read more about it here. In short, it is a TXT record in DNS, and it will also be useful for future email campaigns, so this is the recommended method.
2. Publishing a TXT record in DNS.

Please note that due to the nature of DNS, the changes you make may not become visible immediately.

3. Adding an HTML tag to the website’s homepage
4. Uploading a verification file to the website hosting

The verification procedure is available on the domain edit page. To access it, go to the list of domains in your project and click the edit icon (pencil) or the words Not verified in the Verification status column.
Choose the verification method that works best for you and follow the instructions provided for the selected option.

Domains may change ownership over time. Therefore, our system will periodically check whether your chosen verification method is still valid. Please keep it active even after successful verification so that your domain remains verified.

Good luck with your email campaigns!
